1.  Before shipping our puppies – they must be from 16-20 weeks old.

2.  Shipping cost vary and range anywhere from $100 to $300 depending on your location and the breeders location.  You will be paying that cost separate from the purchase of the dog.

3.  Your breeder will provide a shipping kennel to travel in at an additional expense to you.  They range from $20 to $50 so be prepared.  The price varied due to the price the kennel owner has to pay for them.

4.  All dogs leaving have to have a rabies vaccination.  Usually, the cost to the buyer is what ever the cost from their vet was.  Ask for a receipt, as you will need this to register your dog in your city or county.

5.  Mar-D Poms, at our expense, will vaccinate the puppy you purchase from us  for Distemper, Parvo, Hepatitis and Para influenza as long as the dog is old enough to receive those vaccinations.  These are considered all the “puppy” shots.  It is recommended and we do not use the Lepto Vaccine on Pomeranian puppies due to the high incident of Poms having severe reactions to this vaccine up to and including seizures and death.

6.  Check with your local airline as to their requirements for the transportation of small dogs and even “if” they transport small dogs.   You might need a flight certificate from a licensed veterinarian at the point of origin.  We would need to know this in advance.  When we take your puppy for its final exam at our vet’s office, we can then obtain the certificate that is required.  The cost of the certificate is another cost to the buyer but we would charge the actual vets charge to the buyer.

7.  Micro Chipped – On our “show quality” dogs, we would require any dog less than 6 months of age to be chipped before leaving our hands.  This includes a registration of that dog and the cost again is whatever the vet charges.  Upon request, we will Microchip a pet quality dog if the buyer requests it, at the buyer’s expense.

8.  We will not ship  a dog if the temperatures are above 85 degrees or below 40 degrees as this is too hard on the dogs.

9.  You do have the option of coming to our location and picking up your dog.
